CHAPTER ONE

I sat on the train wondering what the hell I was going to do. Half of my class population already hates me and we aren't even to the school yet. I can't even have a conversation with someone without fucking up.

*A short while earlier*

"Sweetie, we love you! You'll come back during Christmas break and tell us about everything that's happened. Don't forget to write!" I sat in my seat on the train as my mom and dad waved goodbye.

My parents had already sent one kid to the Werewolf Academy, so they were used to it. I, on the other hand, was a nervous wreck waiting to happen. Sure, I was the daughter of one of the most influential Alpha's in the world, but I am not ready to take on a school full of people that have Alpha blood. Fighting with my brother was enough. I didn't need to have to but heads with anyone else.

"Bye mom, bye dad!" I gave them a nervous wave as the train pulled away.

The person beside me smiled. "It's nice that your parents came to see you off. Mine are too busy with pack stuff. You know, treaties and such."

I nodded. "Yeah, my dad just doesn't want to miss a moment because of his title."

"My name is Jackson, what's yours?" He smiled at me.

"I'm Yvonne. What pack are you from?" I asked politely.

"Dark mountain pack." I smiled at him. That pack was close to mine. "You?"

"Blue Valley." His eyes widened in recognition.

"That's pretty close to me. Maybe we could hang sometime, you know, during breaks." He gave me a nervous smile.

"That'd be fun!" I smiled excitedly at him.

"Great! Five minutes and I've already made a friend." He laughed a little.

"Jackson, babe?" A red-headed girl walked up to us and gave me a nasty scowl. "Who's this?" She asked as she frowned at me.

"This is Yvonne, and she's from Blue Valley." I gave her my best nice girl smile.

"She looks like a skank in the most derivative meaning of the word. Let's go." I felt a little shocked. I hadn't even said a word to her.

My other half got angry. 'Let me out, I'll say something to her.'

'Chill out, they may be mates.' I said trying to calm her down.

'Ask her then.'

'I hope you don't mind me asking, but are the two of you mates?" I gestured between the two of them. t

The girl crossed her arms. "No, but that doesn't give you the right to seduce my man."

I raised an eyebrow. "I was making a friend.

Honestly, I'm saving myself for my mate because he deserves it. Now that doesn't mean that I can't make friends."

The girl obviously didn't like my attitude. "You are so annoying. The way you were smiling at him-"

Jackson stood up. "I was just making a new friend.

She lives close by and I thought it would be nice to have a friend."

The girl pouted at him then glared at me. "You'll regret talking to him." She walked up to the front of the train car. "Everyone?" All eyes turned to her.

"You may not know me, but I am Trish Reines.

Daughter of Alpha Dominic Reines. Now my boyfriend, Jackson Thomas, tried to make nice with that girl over there." She pointed right at me.

"When he started talking to her she turned into the epitome of a skank. My sweet boyfriend had no idea he was being played, but my skank radar is highly tuned and I immediately knew her for what she is." Everyone looked at me and I couldn't handle it.

My other half was on the verge of surfacing but I couldn't let her. "I was just making a friend." She glared at me and rolled her eyes. "Look, I get you're possessive, but I'm harmless." She didn't believe me. "If you don't stop with the stupid possessive bs I won't hesitate to knock your ego down."

She laughed at me. "I don't think you heard me before, but my dad is Dominic Reines."

"And you don't want to know who my dad is." I said calmly.

She scoffed. "You're from Blue Valley. Your dad is a nobody."

"I lied. I'm not from Blue Valley." I paused. "I'm from Midnight Moon, so get over yourself."

A lot of people gasped. Okay so my pack wasn't the nicest to hunters, vamps, or well anyone besides werewolves. My dad is basically the man these geeks call their king.

"You're not from Midnight Moon." The girl seemed to not be sure about her own statement.

"Oh yeah? And you know this how?" I asked, trying to keep my other half down.

'Let me at her. Please Yvonne, I'll show her.'

The girl shrugged. "There's already an Alpha child from that pack going to the Academy."

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, and he has a sister idiot."

She glared at me. "Only one child from a generation goes to the Academy."

"Well they decided that I'd go to the school also. I don't know why, but you're seriously pissing my other half off." I glared back at her. My fists clenched at my sides and I knew my eyes were black from the anger burning through my veins.

The girl let out a high pitched huff. Seriously, annoying. "My dad will find out about this.

"And I assure you that mine won't. I don't let my dad fight my battles. I'm too proud for that."

"And I assure you that mine won't. I don't let my dad fight my battles. I'm too proud for that." I crossed my arms because she just showed weakness in front of me.

She gaped at me. "He won't fight it for me, but he sure as hell will make sure you're expelled."

I looked around feigning confusion. "I don't see anyone hurt. Well, your pride may be hurt, but you deserve that." My eyes landed on hers and they were pitch black. "Go call your dad. We'll see how well your expulsion tactic works."

I turned on my heels and headed for the caboose.

And that leaves me here. That girl is probably making everyone hate me. I already have enough to deal with, and now there's this. Just great.
