"How did you find out?" I pulled away from him sharply. I knew he was bound to be aware sooner or later but I never expected him to figure it out that quick. I had thought it would take a month before she came clean as she had been indecisive with her feelings for him.
"I took your advice." He began and I swallowed a victory lump in my throat. I waited for his proceeding. "I talked to her about her sudden distance and if she really wanted things to end between us." I was grateful that I had even thought of what to ask in the first place and the grace I gained from knowing he did something I had asked him to, had my insides spinning in praise.

"Pregnant?" I repeated after the doctor. I was sure I had heard him wrong. "Excuse me?" I alarmed, afraid to face the words I had just heard.
