The wolf!

I stood beside the window up until the early hours of the morning, watching the dark folded clouds as they paved away and let the sun creep out. The only thing that set me at ease was watching them.

“Roland...” I called out deeply and shut the windows, the sun was rising and I could feel the rays on my skin. I spun around after shutting the windows strolled over to the bed and sat on it.

“Yes, King Damien.” He came in the next minute, standing in front of me.

“Get her out of the dungeon.” I heaved a sigh and crossed a leg over the other.

He was unsteady in his feet and took his lips in and he lift his head slowly but didn’t meet my gaze.

“But you said you won’t let her out, she’s a wolf, my King.” His head was bowed deeply. “...you mustn’t forget what the wolves did, why we never accept to be aligned with them.”

“She needs to work, as my slave. There’s nothing to it and I won’t let you lecture me.” I said through gritted teeth.

“But, King Damien...”

“Enough!” I roared and
