I casually walked to the kitchen and checked what foodstuff they had available in order to decide on what to prepare.

I was still checking for the food items available when a woman who looked like she was in her late fifties approached me and bowed before me.

“Luna. You shouldn't be stressing yourself in the kitchen. It is the duty of a maid,” The woman told me.

“What’s your name?” I asked her.

“Mrs Gale. I am the head maid,” She answered and bowed her head slightly in respect.

I felt humbled in her presence due to how such an elderly woman showed so much respect for me.

“I was brought up in a traditional way. Back in my family's home, no maid is allowed to cook for my Dad. My Mom takes it upon herself to always cook for him. Even though I don't intend to do that for Zander always, I will cook for him occasionally. I'd appreciate it if you cooperated with me,” I said to her and she smiled.
