Ch. 108 A Luna's Plea

Sarah’s POV

The days passed by in a blur with the flurry of activity in the pack. The Dark Fae and the wolves they’d compelled to attack us had left astounding destruction in their wake. Homes needed rebuilding, the forest needed replanting, and grieving families needed to be comforted. That was all in addition to planning the funerals of all those we lost, a full time activity in itself.

It felt as though I had barely seen my mates over the past couple months. They were running the pack in all but title, giving the Alphas time to bond with their new pups. Between Rachael and I, we covered most of the Luna duties as well. I enjoyed every moment of my time with Mason, but between caring for him, organizing meals and housing for the displaced families, and the nightmares that rarely let me sleep at night, I was beyond exhausted.
