“I APOLOGIZE if I'm being impolite, but what is your name, Miss?” Robert inquired as to who couldn't keep his horses any longer.

The lady cast a glance at Robert, but quickly removed her gaze and returned her attention to her soup.

She replied, "Sittie," after taking a spoonful of soup.

“What—”

Robert was about to finish his sentence when he felt Kai kick him in the shin under the table, causing them to look at each other. Kai shoved his head against Robert, telling him to stop asking Sittie strange questions and to concentrate on his food. Robert followed Kai and shoved a heaping spoonful of rice, bacon, and sausages into his mouth. After such large bites, his curiosity continues to pique, and a slew of questions arise in his mind, to which he seeks answers. He knows he won't get an answer from Kai; he's the type of man who will keep his silence if he says he won't tell anyone anything. But Robert is not the type of man who will stop until he has satisfied his curiosity, so he will find a way to answer his questions, and no one will be able to stop him from asking this stranger lady in front of him.

“Do you happen to be Kai's girlfriend?” Robert asked Sittie, without a hint of hesitation, to look at him straight in the eyes. But Robert is adamant, and he didn't give Sittie a sidelong glance and level his aura with her. He waited patiently for Sittie to respond.

“No.” Sittie responded by lowering her gaze into her soup.

“If not, what is your relationship with Kai?”

“Nothing.” She didn't bother to look at Robert when she replied.

“Do they keep something from me? Why does it feel like this is a scripted scene?” Robert questioned himself as his brow wrinkled. He became even more curious, so he bombarded Sittie with questions incessantly.

"Do you happen to be Kai's sister?"

“No.”

“Cousin?”

“No.”

“Are you one of his women?”

“No.”

“Then tell me who you are.” With great frustration, Robert inquired.

“Sittie.”

“Shit! This conversation isn’t going anywhere.” Within his head, he cursed.

Robert's mind is racing; he desperately wants to know what and who Sittie is and why Kai would bother bringing her to his house if they have no special connection. He knew Kai wasn't just any ordinary guy who would bring a lady into his home, which is why Robert is curious as to why there's a lady in his friend's home all of a sudden. He knew Kai would never bring a lady into his house, especially if it was just to beat her up all night. He didn't want to. Though Robert knew he'd get nothing from asking Sittie, he was desperate to continue. Perhaps if he kept bombarding her with questions, he'd get a clue.

“Are you his daughter?” he asked, not even thinking about it. Sittie locked her gaze on him and gave Kai a direct look before blinking her eyes and returning her gaze to him.

“No.”

“So, where did you come from?”

“From my father's cum,” she replied without flinching.

Robert can't believe Sittie answered him without shame.

“Are you truly human?”

“Obviously.”

Damn!

Out of frustration, he asked, "Who exactly are you?"

“Sittie.”

When Sittie answered his questions, he made a face palm. She's straightforward, uncomplicated, and devoid of emotion. Robert has the impression that he is conversing with an artificial intelligence (A.I.). He's not sure what his reaction will be or how he'll interpret her; is she being sarcastic to him or is that just the way she is?

"Oh, my God!" he moaned.

“Robert, stop embarrassing yourself,” Kai interjected as he sipped his coffee.

Looking at Kai, Robert's eyes narrow, filled with doubt and frustration.

“How come you guys can't tell me the truth? “What kind of relationship do you two have?” he enquired.

“Nothing.” They responded as one.

In his curiosity, Robert can't help but kill himself. While his mind is troubled by his curiosity, Kai silently looks at Sittie, who is eating the food he made for her. Kai kept staring at her until she felt Kai's eyes on her. He simply gave her a sweet smile to dispel her apprehension about his gaze. But, before facing him, Sittie put her spoon down and wiped her mouth with a table cloth.

“I sincerely apologize for what occurred last night, and I appreciate you feeding me. Please accept my apologies if I caused you any inconvenience,” she stated flatly.

“It's fine; you don't have to say anything; I'm happy to help you,” Kai replied with a smile.

“However, it is not acceptable,” she said, her voice cold and resolute, drawing Kai and Robert's attention to her.

“What do you mean exactly? Isn't there anything you can do—"

“Shut up! Listen!” Sittie said commandingly as she stopped Robert from speaking.

Sittie's voice, as well as her aura, abruptly changed, and she looked Kai in the eyes with seriousness and authority.

“If you didn't mind helping me last night, so it's the other way around for me; I don't need anyone's assistance, so please don't bother or approach me the next time our paths cross; I just hope we never see or touch again,” she said as she stood up in her chair, emotionless. Straight walking out of Kai's house.

Kai and Robert were left speechless by what had occurred, but Robert, being a man, couldn't help but wonder, especially if his mind began to generate questions.

"Kai—"

"Will you pause, Robert?" Kai abruptly came to a halt, his face flushed with rage.

“But—”

Kai gave Robert a stern look, but he's not the kind of man who gives up easily when he has something to say.

“Do you think it's okay for her to go outside with that look?” he worriedly asked.

Kai had only just noticed Sittie's outfit. He dashed to his room, grabbed his coat, and dashed out the door to catch up to Sittie. He noticed Sittie waiting for a cab on the side of the road and quickly approached her, wrapping his coat around her.

“Could you please tell me what you're up to? Isn't it true that I have yet to clear e—”

He silenced her. “I'm covering your body, and I completely understand what you're saying,” he explained.

"So, what are you up to?" Sittie inquired, her brows lifted, in a shrewd and quick-witted manner.

“Everything is for your benefit. I don't want you to get a cold or be stared at inappropriately. “I'm just trying to keep you out of trouble,” he said with a smile.

“I assumed you were aware of what I had said, including the fact that I did not require your assistance,” she said sharply, taking off the coat that Kai had wrapped around her.

“Stop being stubborn and just use this.” Kai then put his coat back to Sittie's body and hailed a cab.

Sittie shifted her gaze to Kai. "What are you talking about?"

Kai ignored her and opened the cab's door and gently pushed her inside.

“Wait, what—”

He placed his index finger on Sittie's lips to silence her, but she quickly grabbed his hands and pulled it away from her lips.

“Put an end to this act. I'm aware of what you did this morning!” she said, her gaze fixed on Kai's face.

“And I'm glad you like it,” he grinned and winked at her.

“Fuck—"

“Shh... It's not pleasant to hear that word, especially coming from a woman like you. Keep an eye on yourself.” He gave the cab driver a sidelong glance. “Drive her safely, Sir.”

Sittie is about to complain when Kai quickly closes the cab door and moves away from it. When Kai finally saw the cab leave, he walked back inside to his house, but after a few steps, he looked back in the direction where the cab had vanished.

“This sensation...reminds me of something.”

The cold whispers of the sea and the chilly breeze went unnoticed by the two clasped in each other's arms. The only thing that mattered that night was the burning passion and fervor of their bodies, overpowering their senses. They were giving each other all the heat they desired, lost in a world where nothing else existed but their shared desire. The rhythmic crashing of the waves against the shore seemed to synchronize with the pounding of their hearts, creating a symphony of raw emotion and unbridled passion. Their bodies moved in perfect harmony, each touch, kiss, and caress igniting a fire that only grew hotter with every passing moment. In that secluded spot, surrounded by the vastness of the ocean and the star-studded sky, they found solace and ecstasy in each other’s embrace, letting the night carry them away in its tide of fervent love and desire.“I think we can make this better if we’re lying down,” Blythe suggested, her desire intensifying.Kai didn't answer with words. Blythe asked suddenly.Kai remained silent, his eyes fixed on the vast ocean. Blythe gently held his face in her hands, turning it towards her, locking gazes with him."Stop loving her and start loving me. I won't let you feel insignificant because of a girl who has been controlling you for years. She doesn't deserve that kind of power over you. Since then, she's only brought chaos into your life, so cut the ties. Sever them! Don't let your troubled past hold you captive, and I'll help you break free," Blythe said with a smile."Bu
