There was another meeting going on at the exact same time as for men who were dressed to kill were trying to figure out where Kit was. They had staked out her house the night prior, and she did not come home. They didn’t know exactly what they would do if she had come back except for the fact that she didn’t so their plan had turned to dust. They had the brilliant idea of trying to call hotels to see if she had checked into one and surprisingly enough they had gotten the answers but not the one that they had wanted. No one with her name had checked in to any hotel within the local area. With her car destroyed she hadn’t even rented out another vehicle.
