Before reaching the house, Zane asked Keira and Theo to keep what happened from his parents with the reason not to worry them. Albeit hesitant, Keira agreed and even helped him with his alibi for the purple bruises on his forehead. Luckily, Esme and Seth were still out, and they found themselves alone in the house.

The lady stayed just before dinner to make sure Zane is okay before she worriedly bid her farewell.
