Chapter 14

“I wonder who that could be,”Albert scoffs.

He stood up to check who it was but before he could go closer to the door, the door was shut open.

“You could have at least waited for me to get the door open for you”Albert scoffs as he raises his eyebrows towards Andrew who had a huge smile on his face.

“I couldn’t help it brother, I am so happy” he entered, as soon as he saw Annabel the smile on his face immediately vanished. “What is she doing here” he asks his brother with a suspicious tone.

“I will be taking my leave now” Annabel stood up immediately to leave. Andrew and Albert stared at her as she rushed out of the room.

Andrew couldn’t understand what was going on between his brother and the new house help.

“Is there something going on?” He asks with curiosity.

“Come on brother, nothing is going on between us. You should know that I can’t have anything to do with a married woman” He answered as he walked away from him.
