Lucious woke up to find Lauren reading close to his bed, he sprang up, his eye caught the clock in his room, it was past noon. He checked his phone to confirm the time, then he looked back at her.

She wore a beautiful smile, still with her casual wear on.

"How come you are back so early?

He asked. Looking around him for any clue, as to what could have made her stay back, especially, avoiding her face. Not wanting to get distracted by her smile, even though he felt happy that she is around, the feeling of his success the previous day, and he felt like telling her everything that happened last night already, just so she could smile broader.

" I didn't go to work, nor to school, so I guess the question should be, why didn't you go to work, school, or even to see your mother? Lucious smiles, he felt his ego grew, believing she left it all to be with him
