Chapter two (Part one)
CHAPTER TWO
FEBRUARY 14th 2012 Tiara works as a part timer in a pastry shop down her street. She stopped thinking about Thomas but suddenly remembers him today because of the date,February 14th! The day she met a mysterious boy in some Valentine party. The fact that she met Thomas on the same day she got stood up by Kyle's cousin made her forget about the rejection part,she kept only the memory of Thomas,it felt weird that she hasn't seen him again,not even walking past him by chance or seeing him from afar at least. Tiara's boss,Mrs Buckley walks to her and tells her that her friend is here again,Mrs Buckley could have been complaining a lot about Kyle's frequent visits but kyle patronises her business a lot. The middle aged woman gives Tiara permission to go talk to her friend and continued with the arrangement of the breads. "Why are you here this early? You know I work here and it's not some place for visitation by friends" she says and drags a chair to sit beside Kyle. "Sometimes I wonder why you nag a lot like an old granny" Kyle brings out a white handkerchief from her bag and wipes an invisible tears,her eyes looks dry for someone crying. "What's up with this morning drama? I know you ain't crying so drop the pretentious act this morning". She removes the handkerchief from her face since she has been caught in the act. " I broke up with my boyfriend." Tiara was fed up with kyle,she just keeps dating and breaking up with different guys,she has dated almost every guy in and outside college to give an exaggeration. "Again? You keep doing this these days. I'm tired already,stick to one" Tiara tells kyle. "Well,I would have listened to your advice if you have experience even a tiny bit of dating but you haven't" she smiles and shakes her head while staring at Tiara pitifully. Tiara keeps rejecting all the guys that came her way, searching for the "perfect one " she would always say but deep down inside she knew she was just looking for excuses while searching for Thomas. "That guy double dated,like he dates another girl while dating me,me! How dare he do that to me! He left me heart broken a day to Valentine. Now I'm here on a Valentine's day morning, sad. As sad as a little rabbit who lost his mom" kyle says. "What are you saying? Sad as a little rabbit who lost his mom? Where did you get that lame line? Tiara knows there's a reason behind this early morning drama from the drama queen herself. " so I bought tickets to watch a boy band sing,I bought it so I could go there with my boyfriend but it's sad ending now" . Story cut short,Tiara knows that Kyle would want her to go with her now that she's a lone wolf. She agreed since she didn't have anywhere to go on Valentine's night or maybe she is just avoiding too much pleas from Kyle. The basement hall where the band performs was small and nice,they played cool songs,the place wasn't anything close to crowded but they were few couples cuddling their partners. They sat down close to the band.Tiara looked around the hall,she felt the coolness of the night. "You don't always have to hang out with your boyfriend, we can go out on our own girlfriend. Valentine day isn't just for lovers,I can hang out with you because I love you." Kyle said giving herself some words of encouragement, consoling herself while pretending to be consoling Tiara.Related chapters

The band consists of boys,they sat down opposite to their audience, the main vocalist is Thomas,Thomas Thompson blew Tiara back to last year,the day she saw him in some random Valentine party. It's exactly a year since that day,here she was about to listen to him sing. She stares at him for long but just when their eyes were about to meet,Tiara shyly looks away, she couldn't lock her eyes with someone she has been wishing to see for a year. Kyle whispers into Tiara ear,telling her that she's sure she has seen that lead vocalist before. She tells Kyle that It's possible since we meet people everyday but kyle insisted for a little while that she could swear she has seen him before. The band begins to sing their song,Thomas sang the song with so much emotion, like he was the one who owned the lyrics but he wasn't since they announced the drummer as the song writer. CHAPTER THREE February 14th,2013 Thomas thought about Tiara,why she would want destiny to work on them. He was one of the biggest believer of fate and destiny, how two people keeps meeting by chance turned into fate. His father taught him that way,he said he saw his mom by chance or rather destiny, for years he knew his father, he always celebrated Valentine's day with his mom,he never once failed to get her a Valentine's gift. Whenever he asked his father why he lives that,free spirited and happy, he told him: "Boy,life is about fate and destiny, what's yours will be yours and what ain't yours is never gonna be yours. You should always live life and accept what it gives to you" he always told him,he believed but not anymore,Thomas hated life giving him sad situations,he hated it the day it happened. The restaurant smelt nice,classic musicians playing at a designated stage for them,too luxurious to Tiara but she kept quiet about being uncomfortable. She couldn't hide her surprise when Tiara told her they were sitting at different tables, she thought it was more like a double date and not putting her in an awkward situation with an unknown guy. Tiara smiles at Kyle's boyfriend, that was all they could; smile and say hi since they met twice or thrice. Tiara's date dressed expensive, it was probably easy for one tell that he is from a wealthy home. He could brag about everything(money and beauty) but not height,Tiara stood taller than him,he asked her to sit rather gently. CHAPTER FOURFEBRUARY 14th 2014 Tiara thinks she saw Thomas,not on Valentine's day last year but some times,it felt like he passed her. Just like in movies,two individuals passing each other unknown to them,maybe she passed him when he turned to a corner to make a phone call or he passed her when her back was turned to her. She doesn't know how but a little part of herself asks her "didn't you pass him?" . she thought about it,it is silly to keep thinking about him,she questions herself wondering if he thinks about her too. She looks at herself in the mirror, a white t shirt and denim. Sometime last year,probably in may Thomas met Ciara. He said Ciara made him think about his father,his father that died on the day he met Tiara,he said meeting her would make his heart hurt but he gave Ciara a lot of attention because her name reminded him of Tiara's, the only different is C and T.

"I know a good cafe with a piano,let's go there. Okay with that?" He asked. She nodded her head in agreement, he promised to play her some of Brahm's music. The cafe is small,Tiara loves it. Ciara walks to them,she politely welcomes them to her cafe. "Hi,I heard you have a piano?" He asks. "Yes,my boyfriend owns it,he's inside" she leads them them to a room at the corner end of the cafe. Tiara whispers to Richard asking him why he picked a piano date outside when he has one at home. He responds to her question with a smile. The owner of the piano,seems too busy playing it,he didn't even notice when they enter the room. Ciara hugs him from behind,to Tiara she seems too clingy to her boyfriend. Thomas turns backward immediately Ciara whispers something to his ear."Hi,I'm Tho...." There is no need for a long introduction, before he could finish saying his name,Richard moves closer to him exchanging pleasantries like old pals. T

CHAPTER FIVEFEMBRUARY 14TH 2015 "We should stop now" she said. The cool breeze romancing her skin as she hugs Thomas. She got tired of it,it makes her looks pathetic. They kept seeing each other with the excuse of being friends,she felt guilty towards Ciara,it felt like she and Thomas were playing with Ciara. Ciara knows too,she knows that Thomas loves Tiara,but she was finding it hard to deal with the truth. She was not too sure about it until she was alone with Richard in the piano room. "Is there something between you and Tiara?" She asked "Yes,we are friends" He told her even though he knew that she wasn't asking about that,he knew she silently prayed for them to have an intimate relationship. "Not that" she said. They walked around the park for a while,holding hands like lost lovers. While they walked she smiles,looking at him like she was searching for something in his face. "Why the look? Is there something on my face?" He asks her "Yes" "What's it? Where??" He asks "It's all over your face, destiny". She avoided speaking about destiny ever since she met him again,she still isn't sure why she avoids the topics, but what's the harm talking about it today. People walked around the park, mostly young couples holding hands and smiling. It was like everyone decided to visit the park on Valentine's day. He asked her if she still believed in that,she gave a quick nod and pointed her finger at him,she told him he made her believe in it. He told her he stopped believing in that,he said it was by chance.

CHAPTER SIX February 14th 2016Thomas drove to pick up Tiara in Kyle's flower shop. She started her flower business mid year of 2015,it's a nice shop doing fairly well. He has asked Tiara a lot of times why she doesn't allow him pick her from her house or drop her there but she Never answers,he didn't want to pressure her so he stopped asking. He was like her too,they never talked about each other's family,they were so close but too far from each other. He moved out of his family's house because his Mom decided to marry another man,he doesn't want her to have another man in her life,he said his father is still up there loving his mom,why does she have to betray him. He threw a lot of her flower gifts away,they reminded him of his father who used to buy a lot for his mom. Seeing her holding a flower she got from another man disgusted him. He tried to understand but he feels understanding her is betraying his fathe
