Chapter four 

He's drop dead gorgeous!!

Mera finished her presentation and the whole crowd rewarded her with a round of applause. She went back to her seat smiling.

She had made it through!! She did stutter a little bit but at least she hadn't burst into tears.

She sent down behind the mysterious man whose presence demand respect.

Even without knowing him , people were already respecting him.

Although Mera couldn't see his whole face . She caught a glimpse of his side profile and was mesimerized . His nose bridge was high and his nose was pointed. He had a very squared jaw and his skin was so smooth and glowing without any hint of hair or blemishes.

He stood up and went to the podium . 

He grabbed the mic firmly yet loosely. 

Mera have never seen anyone reeking so much of masculinity.

" Good morning everyone. Nice to meet you I'm Gabriel Gerald. And yes I'll be heading this department. And  I must say that I'm impressed with the presentation that you guys gave. I'll like us to take uhhmm miss Edward report as reference. We'll be working with that ." He finished his speech and nodded at the roaring sound of applause.

Mera flushed hotly at the mention of her name. Her report was to be used as sample??

Wow!! She must have done really well.

The man locked eyes with her ,and she caught a sight smirk lurking at the corner of his mouth. She quickly averted her gaze as she felt her ear burning up. She must look like a cooked lobster right now.

Then a realization dawned on her

He said his name was Gabriel Gerald!! 

He was a Gerald ! That means he's one of the Gerald heirs .

Woooooooh.

He had noticed her.

She went into her office and sat down feeling giddy. 

She resume working more diligent than ever . She was very motivated to more worthy and deserving of his praises.

Her colleague Kira came to her desk and asked her" Mera can I take a look at your report?? " 

" Sure why not??  " She handed the report to her and she muttered her thanks.

Feeling the urge to ease herself , she strodded into restroom that was a few miles away from her office.

She got there and met a very long que. 

What was happening?? She decided to go the second one and met the same fate.

Perhaps she should come back later. As the urge isn't that pressing.

She went back to her seat and resume working .

After sorting through a few files, she was feeling very pressed and needed to use the bathroom. 

She went back to the restroom to check if there's any room.

To her utter dismay! All were occupied and there's still a line of people waiting at the door.

What exactly is happening?? Why would everybody want to ease their selves at the same damn time!!

Unable to hold herself any longer ,she went into the men's restroom and was relieved to see that there's no one there.

She entered a door and gasped

A man was peeing and he had drawn his trousers halfway showcasing a firm masculine butt.

She closed her eyes and muttered a curse.

She would start peeing on her body very soon.

After what seems like eternity,the man wore his trousers very well and turned his back.

Holy moly!! Holy geese!!

It was Gabriel!!!

His eyes widened as he saw her. He schooled back his expression into normal and went out of the restroom as if he Mera had become invisible.

Mera quickly we t to the closet and did her business .

She let out a relieved sigh as soon as she was done .

She remembered what happened and her heart starts beating rapidly. 

"What sh* t had she gotten herself into ??

Coming into the male restroom had been a closest choice that she could make given her situation.

She could be excused right?? 

She probably should act as if nothing is wrong since Gabriel didn't show any sign of suprise ( except his eye widening)and acted as if he hadn't even seen her.

She would act like that too.

She pats her chest and encouraged herself. 

She can do it!! If Gabriel can , so can she 

She got out from the restroom and walk stealthily away, looking around for any witnesses that had seen her coming from the males restroom. And thank God there was none .

She was about to enter her office when she heard a chilling voice resounding through the whole corridor

" Miss Edward. I would like to see you in my office." He said and walked away without even sparing her a glance.

Here's what she's been afraid of. 

She squared her shoulder and went to his office. 

She knocked and waited a little while. No response. She knocked again, this time harder than before. She heard a voice telling her to ' come in '  which she did .

She clenched her teeth together and dig her fingers into her palm. She couldn't afford to be nervous, she repeated to herself untill she stare into his black expressionless eyes. 

Waves of nervousness hit her tenfolds. 

That was it. She was done for today

" I must say that I was really impressed with your report" he said in a low chilling voice with a tight smile on his handsome face.

Re....report?? He called her here to talk about her report ?? 

"Ahh. Yeaahh.. it's just about research and studying sir  " she replied with shaking voice 

" That's awesome then. I would like to see you do better in your next report ." He said again in his calm and collected voice.

How could he stay so undisturbed??

When she is turning into a mess of nerves.

She nodded her head profusely to show appreciation and was about to open the door when she heard him say something that made her stop in her tracks.

" I saw you there " he said in cold chilling voice.

She shakily moved away from the door and closed it.

He saw her!! 

He had saw her.

She squealed inwardly in agony.
