(ALEXA'S POV)

I sat alone at my table, surrounded by a room full of people I knew. Yet, no one came near me. My eyes were fixed on the stage where Luke stood, with Rachel’s perfectly manicured hand holding tightly onto his arm. She looked beautiful in a cream gown, next to her stood Iris in a matching dress. They looked like the perfect family up there.

Rumors floated around me. "I can't believe Luke Hunters has been married all this while." One woman said.

"No wonder he stayed away from women," another added.

Another laughed. "No, he isn't the type. I heard he has a mistress, one he dotes on. He even gave her the status of a sepal.” She said it with venom in her voice.

"What?" another gasped. "No Orchid lord has appointed a sepal in years.”

“He did,” the first lady replied firmly.
