GABRIELLE’S POV

Damon ended the call after Jared uttered those words. His eyes were back to their cold default and I could feel a sudden distance between us.

My throat ran dry. “Damon—“

“You lied.”

Fuck, I shouldn’t have lied if he was going to find out anyway.

He threw my phone on the bed and I picked it up to switch it off. I hesitated, unsure of what I should say next.

“I’m sorry,” I said, my voice barely above a whisper. I cleared my throat and tried again. “I’m sorry, Damon.”

He closed the space between us, his hands cupping my cheeks. “I know you are sorry, Gabrielle. But Jared dies today. No need for an apology.”

Chill ran up my spine.

I should have been ecstatic about getting my revenge on Jared, but I wasn’t.

It made me sad in a way that I didn’t understand. He was also the only person Emily had after Father disowned us. I might have cut ties with her but I still cared about her as a sister would.

From afar, of course.

I swallowed. “Let’s calm

  • ACCIDENTALLY MARRIED TO THE BILLIONAIRE SINGLE DAD   CHAPTER 101

GABRIELLE’S POV This isn’t over. Those were the last words Anya had said to me before leaving with Lila three nights ago. Meanwhile, things between Damon and me had gotten pretty… heated in all the right ways. I was the first thing he reached for every night when he came home from work, and the last thing in the morning before he left again. I was on my back, folded like a pretzel and thrown every which way, and I definitely wasn’t complaining. But I also wasn’t ready to be a mother. And that meant I had to be on birth control. I scrolled through my phone, reading the pros and cons of each option. Ultimately, I’d have to go for a consultation first, but it felt like less of a hassle if I knew what I was getting into beforehand. “Hello?” I heard a voice say before my phone was snatched from my hand. “Girl, were you even listening to me?” My head shot up. “I was, Fiorella. Give me my phone back.” “Or what?” She retorted, glancing at the screen. “What are you doin

DAMON’S POV I watched as the amusement in her eyes die down instantly, but I wasn’t done speaking. “The fact that we met, that I loved you at some point, that I took my father’s punishment for you—those were all mistakes,” I said slowly so every word stuck in her head. “But I’ve changed, Selene. And I don’t repeat mistakes.” She glared at me, her breath turning shallow. “What we had was solid. We were good together, everyone knew that. Your mother was already planning our future wedding before she died. You don’t mean what you’re saying, Damon.” “Oh, but I do,” I responded. “The holidays are over now. Go back to wherever you came from before I make another mistake that guarantees you don’t.” Her lips parted, but no sound came out at first. The glare in her eyes wavered, replaced by something darker—resentment and fear. “I won’t let you rewrite our story,” she snapped finally. “You don’t get to pretend I was just a phase in your life.” “I’m not pretending,” I said calm

  • ACCIDENTALLY MARRIED TO THE BILLIONAIRE SINGLE DAD   CHAPTER NINETY NINE

DAMON’S POV My meeting was long overdue but I kept stalling and pushing it forward to spend more time with my wife. She had no idea how often I thought about her whenever I was away. It consumed me so deeply, like a drug addict waiting for their next fix. Except, I was still functional without it. I got out of the hotel elevator and into the private area where the meeting would be taking place. To my surprise, the hall was empty. There were indicators that people had been in the room—useless file covers, a pen or two, and empty water bottles—but that was it. “Your investors are still waiting for you,” I heard a familiar voice say behind me. “They’re in the other private area.” I shoved my hands in my pockets as I turned around slowly, my eyes meeting Selene’s. “Is this a joke?” She shrugged. “I only told them that the venue was the hall across from this one. What’s the big deal? You’re late anyway.” I narrowed my gaze at her. “You’re abusing your leverage, Sel

GABRIELLE’S POV It had been eight hours since Damon gave me another mind-shattering orgasm. We ordered room service after taking a bath together. After that, I took a very long and tired nap while he worked on the couch. I woke up an hour ago and we were now in the limo, on our way back to the villa. I sighed and leaned into his warmth. “Why does it feel like I’m coming back to some sort of opposite reality?” He glanced at me, his hands wrapping around my waist. “Probably because you’re seeing your sister in the morning.” My stomach churned. He was right. I dreaded meeting Emily again for some reasons but I knew I had to. And I knew the time Damon gave me was running out. Soon, he’d start talking about Jared, and revenge and I wasn’t sure I was ready for that. Maybe just letting go and healing in peace and quiet would be better than revenge. The car stopped and the driver knocked on the partition board. “We’re home, sir.” I tried

GABRIELLE’S POV My eyes rolled to the back of my head. A sudden rush of ecstasy tore through me I clenched around him instinctively and he groaned, his hands holding my waist in place. I thought sex would feel the same every time—tingles and sparks in your tummy as the tension builds into an orgasm. But I was wrong. Damon proved me wrong. “Oh god!” I exclaimed, biting hard into the pillow as tears streamed down my face. He felt too good, just pulsating inside me. After a few seconds, he began moving, slamming hard into me from behind. I felt every single inch of his cock deeper than it had ever been before and his grip tightened around my waist. “Fucking hell, Gabrielle,” he groaned. I felt a sharp smack on my ass and the pain melted into a single mess from the pleasure of him impaling me with his long, thick length. When he said he fucked hard and wild, I didn’t understand what he meant until now. And somehow, I still felt he was holding back. Hi
