Angel’s POV

Following a great morning glory with my husband, he invited me to sit with him at breakfast.

Dr Warner or whoever her name was, didn't seem to have that much of a problem. Although, there was one insect hovering over Ace throughout. I didn't get her name, and frankly I didn't even care. My mind was on something else.

Once breakfast was done, Ace and I sat in the car.

“Angel,” he cleared his throat and adjusted his posture. “I’ve been meaning to call Jeremy.”

I frowned. “What?! Why?”

He shook his head lightly, and tutted.

“I really don't know. But I feel like he could be in need of a second chance too.” He glared at me, my cheeks became heavy with a blush.

“I’m learning from you.” He added, his eyes anticipating a response from me.

I shrugged my shoulders, my eyes not knowing where to land. “Okay! I mean…go for it!”
