Jasmine widened her eyes as she followed, this was because she knew the man. She knew the man so well. This made her legs feel heavier as she walked closer to his table.

Donovan got to the table and shook the other man before taking his seat in front of him. Jasmine sat beside Donovan gently, her expression turned to a gentle one because of the man.

“Mr. Richard, it's a pleasure to meet you in person,” Donovan uttered. Mr. Richard nodded his head before pressing his back against the chair and then looked at Jasmine, a small smile played on his face as he stared at her.

Jasmine opened the portfolio and placed it in front of Donovan as he began to talk about the business. Jasmine avoided eye contact with Richard at all costs, she fixed her eyes on the table as Richard stared at her closely.

As Donovan talked, he noticed this, he looked at Richard and then back at Jasmine, who felt uncomfortable.
