Lena and the girls walked into the club as the hip-hop music sound hit louder, the sound of glasses clicking and shouts. Moving her eyes around in search of a table, her eyes caught Jayden and his friends heading to the VIP section, she rolled her eyes taking a deep breath to contain her anger. How arrogant she murmurs.

The hip-hop sound reduced to a point and Angela whispered to Lena, nodding to Jayden’s direction. “ He's hot right?” She slid her head to give Lena a wink.

“ Don't give me that look, I’m different, he's just too arrogant!” she looks away.

“ Over there” Vera points at a vacant table.

“ You shouldn't have done that Lena, After seeing his face,” Angela continued glancing at the others who nodded, “ Jayden Huxley is wealthy and Influencia here in Greenville and beyond. you don't want to mess with that after losing everything and in need to start over. Don't get yourself into any more Mess Lena!”

“ At least she got to release her bent up anger for months! I’m proud of her” Vera helped Lena sit and the others did.

“ Who is he exactly?” Lena leaned forward curious now, the clutters from nearby tables increased. it's obvious they know him while she don't after all she hasn't been interested in Greenville Hot male news.

“ He’s a Golfer, the most highly paid golfer here in Greenville and outside the country, girls flock around him like bees and i was shocked and amazed at the same time seeing him for the third time this year. At no other place but Band Bustin, I think it's his first time here isn’t that weird and nice at the same time or do I alone feel that way?” Angela asked, throwing her hands in the air.

“ You are not alone, i was shocked too” Mabel added.

“And again, He has a one month rule and only dates a girl for a month after that she's out!” Angela snaps.

“ You get the drill,” Mabel chipped in.

Lena stares at them for a while and shakes her head, “ that's his business!”

The music got louder again and again, this time getting to a fever pitch. “ Let's get some drinks, first rounds on me!” Angela pulled Lena and they all head to the Club counter holding hands while pushing through the crowded club. While the others followed.

Ordering the first set of drinks, they started with shooters and then cocktails, laughing and gossiping. Angela couldn’t take her eyes off the newest guys in town on the next table as she kept flipping her hair to catch their attention while the others laughed.

Lena's mood increased from the drinks and the atmosphere, and she felt it isn’t so bad after all to be out here.

The speed up music from the DJ took everyone by surprise, Mabel screamed, “ this my favourite!” pulling Angela with her to the dance floor while Vera pulled Lena against her wish to the dance floor swaying her around while she laughs.

“ OMG!! Lena this isn’t happening” Vera suddenly stopped dancing staring behind Lena in shock. Noticing her weird behavior Lena looked above her shoulder to see Diego dancing and swaying with Olivia, her ex coursemate, the new girl he has been floating on i*******m and she immediately felt her legs give way despite the Bubbling atmosphere.

Lena had taken Olivia like a sister while in college. She tells Olivia everything about her including her relationship with Diego and how much he loves her, going as far as swearing he would never leave her. But then it all came as a shock when he cancelled their wedding through a single text, telling her he was done with her and the money he took was just a payback for all the time he loved her, even after the court case she couldn’t recover her money and Diego won. Since then he has been shaking the town with Olivia by his side as if he won a lottery.

“ Are you okay? Should we leave?” Vera held her immediately from falling.

“ Why would I leave? They should be the one to leave, not me,”She steadied herself and swallowed hard, leading the way to the bar counter.

“ Can’t believe Diego could act and dance this happy after everything! Are you okay?” She asked again.

“ I’m fine, you can go, I'm okay” Lena placed hands on her forehead trying to catch her breath. Vera refused to leave and sat there with her to make her feel better.

It has been so easy thinking she would be fine by now after so many months, but seeing Diego again made it all feel worthless. Lena swallowed hard, this time her breath coming in short gasps. She looked back again to see Diego swaying around Olivia feeding her an apple while there dance and her heart ached.

“ Should we leave, you are losing it, your eyes are red!” Vera snapped Lena from her thoughts.

“ Give me some shots” Lena gestured to the bartender who pulled out shots in front of her. Wasting no time she gulped them in one at a time, Vera tried to stop her but she swayed her body aside to gulp them all. Wiping her lips with the back of her hand. She smiled awkwardly at Vera, “ i’ll be okay for sure” she smiled awkwardly, nodding to the music.

In minutes, she suddenly felt hellish inside, holding her chest to contain the burning sensation inside her heart at the same time nodding to the Dj beats, “I need to go dance, i need a quick fix” she pulled herself up unable to walk straight as she stood up from the stool and made her way to the dance floor in search of a stranger to dance with.

Playing the pick rhythm in her head it stops at Jayden, despite his arrogance he looks the best for a quick fix. Everything about him screams the type she needed. Seeing him talking with one of the girls she staggered and pulling him to the dance floor.

“ What’s that for?” the other girl asked, trying to push Lena off and Jayden waved her off.

“ Fuck you!” she points with her middle finger and walked off pushing chairs off her way.

Jayden looked down to take a proper look at Lena, perceiving Alcohol as she swayed awkwardly. She looked up, rolling her eyes while biting on her lower lips and this got Jayden chuckling.

“ Thanks for saving me, from her” he nodded with his head while Lena chuckled.

“ I guess we are even now?” Lena hiccup and Jayden smiled.

From the Corner of her eyes she saw Diego and Olivia swaying in their direction in panic she threw herself at Jayden.
