Giselle's POV.I left my office and walked to the coffee and pastries shop near the school. I enjoyed the cool breeze while walking and I envied students that were going into the school with their friends and with a smile on their faces. I wished I could travel back to time, I would really make use of it diligently. I sighed heavily on the street, regretting most of my decisions, ‘but I've lived well, where did it go wrong?’ I thought.I entered the coffee shop, and went to place my order. I sat near the window, I had a cream cheese puff, apricot and vanilla puff, and croissants with a cup latte because I was so hungry, I didn't realize that I was eating so much until I noticed that the attendant gaze was on me.I finished eating and left the coffee and pastries shop, I walked back to school while checking my wrist watch. I didn't want to be late to the lecture hall. I was going to lecture so I fastened my pace, and when I got to school, I met the person that irritated me the most
Bryan's POV.We sat inside the class after the first lecture hour, and we were waiting for the next lecturer to come in. “Thanks for yesterday bro,” Seb said, and I smiled, seeing that he looks more different. “You are always welcome, next time don't keep such things to yourself, you should tell someone around you, okay?” I said, and he nodded at me with a smile. “You should have rested a bit more at home,” I said, and Seb smiled. “I can't afford to miss another class,” he said, and I punched him playfully. “You are too serious, am I sure I make the right friend?” I asked playfully and we both laughed. “Of course not, I am the one that made the wrong decision, I should not be friends with a popular student,” he said, and I got confused. “What do you mean?” I asked, and he smiled.“Because my quiet life will become noisy in some ways,” he said jokingly. “That's exactly what I want, you should ditch class a few times too, there are many things you should do,” I said, and he smiled. “An
Bryan's POV.We finished the class and I heard my name, but didn't bother looking at my back, because I knew who the voice belonged to immediately I heard it.“Bryan, you can't ignore me forever,” Ivy said, and I ignored her whole existence inside the lecture hall. Seb was feeling uncomfortable with the gaze, and I noticed that. He didn't like too much attention on him especially when it involved bad comments.“Shall we go to the cafeteria?” I asked, and he nodded at me, because it was lunchtime already. “Ignore me all you want Bryan, you come back to me crawling,” she said, drawing more attention to us, but I acted like I didn't hear, and we left the lecture hall.“She is acting up again,” Seb said, trying not to offend me, and I smiled. “You don't have to be careful around me,” I said, and he looked at me. “I don't even like her,” I added. “She is really crazy, she's too clingy,” Seb said angrily, thinking he was angry because Ivy was disturbing me, but when realization hit me I kn
Bryan's POV.“What's up bro, you are not answering my question,” he said, after he noticed that I spaced out.“No, I'm just amazed, like you know those things that j don't even know, I'm surprised,” I said, and he smiled.“You have a lot to know about me,” he said, and smiled faintly. “You don't like attention, but you work at a bar, and you know these things when I've never seen you with a friend before, tell me the secret dude,” I said, and he smiled.“Okay,” he said. “You still don't know the reason for my anxiety?” He asked, and I got confused. “What are you trying to say?” I asked confusedly. “Later, I will tell you everything soon,” he said, and patted my shoulder. “Okay,” I said, and we stood up. We walked out of the lecture hall, and I headed towards Giselle's office, but Seb stopped me. “Where are you going?” He asked, and I smiled playfully. “What do you mean? Go home I have something to take care of here,” I said, and he looked at me suspiciously. “Your new girlfriend?”
Giselle's POV.I went back to my office after the lecture and I couldn't get the scene from earlier off my mind. I did not understand why the girl would behave like that, I sense fear in behavior, but what could I do? She did not want to be saved. I thought, but I couldn't ignore the situation. I never imagined that such things could happen in my school. I was down, and couldn't stop thinking about the girl's mental health.“How can they bully their mate? Do they have a conscience?” I asked no one in particular.“That is unfair,” I mumbled to myself.Even though she pretended like she was strong, I didn't think that was the case, she was just scared. I started feeling a headache, so I picked my bag and took out my medication. I stood up from my chair to the water dispenser. I took my medication, and rested my head on my desk for a while. I couldn't even know how to take care of myself, but I was worried about someone else's problem, I couldn't believe myself. I sighed heavily and I s
Giselle's POV.The guy's gaze was crazy; it was like he could kill them any time soon. He went closer to the girls, and he looked down looking at the girl sitting on the floor. He looked pitiful, but the expression faded away within a few seconds. I could sense more than sympathy in that scene, but the guy's expression was perfect that he hid his feelings well.“Stand up,” he said, referring to the girl on the floor, but she didn't move an inch, she didn't even raise her head, and it seems like the boy was pissed off.“Stand on your feet, Audrey!” He yelled at her, and that made her jerked up. “What? How dare you? I didn't tell you to stand!” The blonde girl yelled. Audrey wanted to kneel, but she was stopped by the boy.“What! Are you choosing a scholarship student over me? Kevin, I dare you,” the blonde girl said angrily, and he smirked. scholarship student? what did she mean by that' I thought.“Cindy, I thought you were only struggling with your grades, but I didn't know you were
Sebastian's POV.After I left the school, I went to the apartment Bryan gave me, it was one of the most expensive apartments nearby, even after I persuaded him to let me pay for rent because I did not want to be a burden to him, not when we just became friends, and he agreed, but he told me that the rent money will be used to stack my refrigerator, and I knew that was another way of him rejecting it. He was so stubborn that I couldn't reject it anymore, I was able to sleep in a room with a good condition thanks to him, that was when I knew the meaning of a home, I woke up with a smile on my face even though I was feeling a lot if pain, I still had a lot of energy. I had spent all my life sleeping at a bar after work since I was fifteen, despite my age I begged my boss to let me work there and none of the workers knew that I slept at the bar until I got caught at eighteen and that almost got me fired, but my boss was considerate enough to let me stay after the situation.I worked hard
Sebastian’s POV.Claire went to a table and sat down. She kept looking around impatiently, and I mustered up some courage to go to the table before she got frustrated, because she wasn't looking well and it felt like she had no choice but to show up.“Good evening,” I said, and she didn't answer, she looked at me like someone who has lost their way. “Hi,” I said, and she hissed in frustration. “I'm waiting for someone,” she said.“Oh okay, so can I keep you company till that person arrives?” I asked, but she did not reply, so I took her silence as a ‘Yes’.I sat down looking at her in the eyes, and she frowned, forming a line on her forehead, then I smiled. “What would you like to have?” I asked her, and she rolled her eyeballs.“Something strong,” she said, and I nodded at her. I knew what she was up to, she wanted to clear her thoughts with alcohol.“Okay then,” I said. I raised my hands and called the bartender ‘James’ . I ordered some beers for the two of us.I cleared my throat,
