Six Months Later:
Faith slowly closed the door to the cafe and locked it tightly before almost jumping in fright at the man standing in front of her as she turned. A kid she corrected herself though.
"Ross Kudrow! You scared me! Do you want me to introduce you to Mr Groan?"
The boy gave a shy smile and flicked his hair back a bit as he spoke, "Sorry! I was just wondering if I could walk you back. It is already late and the streets are abandoned...Who is Mr Groan?"
Shaking her head, Faith spoke, "I am a big girl, Ross. I can take care of myself. As for Mr Groan, well it is where I kick you somewhere that it will make you groan. Anyway? Why are you not studying for your exams?"

As the car stopped a little away from the fenced outer gate, Faith was lost in her own thoughts and thus failed to notice what Ross did. With a curse, Ross jumped out of the car and ran straight towards the gate before she could even stop the car.
