CHAPTER 6: Aiden's Refusal
Three years ago. . .
"Aiden, your life is in danger and we have to do something about it. I won't ever allow anybody to sit on this position because this is already yours in the first place." the Chairman said to his grandson.
"Chairman, I already accepted that my life is in peril. Let them do anything to my life, I won't give a fucking damn! After all, I am not scared of our traitor's antics." there is finality and bravery in his voice but he cannot hide the fact that he's still scared for his life. No matter how adamant and impenetratable he is as a man, he is still a human being who has a fear of emotion.
I will never be complaisant until the culprit/s show him/herself.

Aiden's POVAmidst the deafening silent travel, Enzo suddenly opened his mouth to ask something. He's sitting on the backseat whereas I am comfortably controlling the steering wheel without tearing my eyes off the road."Uhm, Aiden, can I ask you a question?""You're already asking, Mr. Romero," I answered, deadpanned."Yeah, I know," he stealthily rolled his eyes not knowing that I've seen him through the rear view mirror. Enzo's POVI didn't waste any more time and immediately went outside the Gomez Robotics while carefully carrying the full blooded Aiden in my arms. Everyone in the company was getting chaotic due to the unexpected incident happened in the middle of the project's launch. It was such a perfect time to see the newly arrived rescuers the moment I reached outside. It's ten in the evening when I finally got home. The first person showed up in the doorway was my annoying sister."Oh, what are you doing here?" she asked in confusion as she opened the door for me. It was past five in the afternoon when I decided to leave the main laboratory. This day really had my mind drained with loads of works.
