CHAPTER SIXTY EIGHT: Losing my best friend

I was going to handover the papers to him when we heard gunshots, ducking, I jumped over to where Alannah was standing in a bid to protect her. Uncle Matt’s and his men shooting became rampant and we made our way to the safety, I saw my dad trying to escape and I immediately ran over to him, pouncing on him. I slowed him down.

“You don’t want to do this.” He said trying to stand up.

“I’ve been waiting for years to do this.” I punched him and he spat out blood. “That’s for Alannah.” I said. “This is for Nanny McPhee.” I said as I punched him again. “And this..” I said making my hand in a strong fist. “.... is for my mother.” I punched him hard not giving him a chance to breath or even speak. He was still so strong because he immediately rolled over and was on his feet in no time.

“No fucking time pass by that I don’t remember how you killed her.” I let my anger surge through me as I dashed to where he was, he spun around quickly not letting me get to him.
