It is incredible how some singers with their music can make you feel at certain moments in your life.
More specifically, Adele, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, and other women who made you wish you had a razor near you at times as desperate as the one I was living through.
I kept looking at Alex still with Adele singing about her heartbreaks from the television.
I had exhausted my share of tears at that time, there was only concern that the man I saw before me, would react once and for all.
I didn’t know what else to talk to him about, so I decided to turn on the television and comment on whatever was happening at the time.
"Louis called me today,” I said just for the simple fact that he hated I said that name at home, "He admonished me for not going to class."
I looked at him expectantly, miraculously hoping that sentence would work in his brain and bring him back to insult me for naming my teacher, but everything remained the same.

Louis had taken it literally, so he made us all compete to see who chopped the most onions in brunoise. The result? It was all a nightmare. I was just still sleeping and was having a bad dream. At some point I would feel Alex's lips kissing my cheek to wake me up and be able to make love in the middle of the night, just as it had happened a few days ago.
