" I will agree to any condition that you give, Sabrina, as long as you reconsider. " Raw fear framed Rhys' face as he declared, looking very serious, very convincing, and the sincerity in his tone was humiliating.

Others were there. The woman that he loved was there, my in-laws were there, and they were all listening as he indirectly declared his love for Amery. Even if our relationship was centred on hatred, I was allowed to feel something, right?

Judging from the look on his face, he could give his life in exchange, just to save her if I were to ask.
