Chapter Six: Reject your mate Lucien

"Any update about the vampires?" Lucien ask

"No alpha" Aidan replied and Lucien kept quiet starring through the window

He is thinking about what Selina said that he can't meet his mate until after one year. That's way too long for him, where could she be, he hopes she is safe

But he doesn't trust that vampire, he looks suspicious. His mate's scent led him to that boundary and it means she is some where around there

"You can leave Aidan but continue to keep an eye on him" he said.

"Yes Alpha" Aidan bows his head slightly before leaving

Lucien can't deny it, he is definitely worried about his mate. She has a very ugly fate and he wonders if he will be able to protect her from people that wants her dead
