Chapter 37: Don't hurt him, please

I could not stand to see what had happened to Jacob; being thrown across the field as if he was some garbage. He is a good wolf to me, and I hated what Christian did to him.

"Jacob!....." I call him worried as hell; as I raise my head quickly to look at him against the field, to see if he was alright.

Jacob slowly pushes himself off the ground with both of his hands and his knees while he shook his head and his entire body by the hard throw Christian gave him. Immediately, I run away from Christian towards Jacob; wanting to help him. My bright green eyes suddenly widen feeling a tight grip against my left hand, preventing me from moving any further. I turn around at once looking within Christian eyes. His eyes were no longer shifting back and forth into its human and wolf form. I then lower my eyes staring at his hands against mine, holding me tightly, and then back to his dark eyes.
