My sister's and I were on our way to school, and as usual, Bree was our driver. I was grateful for their help with Charles and Grace, and relieved that they didn't suspect anything.

"Uhm, how did you do it? How was it possible they were not able to find out?" I asked, wanting to know how they did it.

Bree, didn't respond to my question. She was focused on the road ahead, navigating the twists and turns with ease. I wondered how she managed to keep Charles and Grace occupied without giving away my absence.

Anastasia, who was sitting next to her in the front seat, also remained silent. She was busy scrolling through her phone, not bothering to look up or acknowledge my question. Her nonchalant behavior irritated me. I wanted answers, but it seemed like nobody was willing to provide them.

I was really frustrated, "Are you guys mad at me or something? Talk to me, if I did something wrong… tell me, I hate the silence." I said again, but still no response.

After a
