~13 DIFFICULT DECISION

The sun had set and the sky was painted with hues of orange and pink. I walked along the beach, feeling the cool sand between my toes and the gentle breeze against my face. The sound of waves crashing against the shore was the only thing that broke the serene silence.

As I walked, I noticed a figure in the distance. It was a woman, sitting alone on a bench, staring out at the sea. I couldn't see her face clearly, but I could tell she was lost in thought.

Curiosity got the best of me and I made my way towards her. As I got closer, I could see that she had tears streaming down her face. I hesitated for a moment, wondering if I should just leave her be, but my empathetic nature wouldn't allow it.

"Excuse me, are you okay?" I asked softly

The woman turned her head and smiled at me, not like I saw her crying some few seconds ago. She patted the space beside her on the bench and I sat down because I felt at ease. I looked at her once more and I saw that she looked familiar but
