ELIJAH’S POV
I stand at the door to Cassie’s ward and see her sitting upright on her bed. The doctor said she was perfectly fine because her wound healed magically fast and I know it’s because she’s an Alpha.
Till this moment, I still can’t believe I reacted the way I did when I saw her almost being choked to death by Landon. My soul literally left my body and I completely lost my mind. One of the reasons why I immediately killed him. Word reached me that he had been buried instantly. He wasn’t given a befitting burial despite the fact that he was a Beta because he tried to kill their Alpha.
