Chapter 46

I sometimes wonder if I am an eternal optimist for even thinking I will get to spend one day without any worries or problems or ridiculous requests like the one posed to me now.

I stare at the three males and the fifty-dollar bill on the bar. “Come again?”

These are not juveniles. They’re three young men. And I know that they’re from Austin’s pack. Which is why I’m even more infuriated.

“We just want to know what you’re like between the sheets,” the one in the

middle winks at me.

“Yeah,” his companion snorts. “We heard you spread ‘em for anybody. So, I’m sure you won’t have any problem getting on your knees right now and blowing me.”

The third one laughs, and when I don’t respond, the middle one makes a surprised face. “Oh, is fifty too much for you? We don’t know your normal rates, you see.”

“She’s probably never seen this much money in her life. She looks like she’ll get down on her knees for two dollars.”

They laugh in unison at that.

I can feel this cold anger take root
