Chapter 12

Luke had woken up thinking about Eleanor and how she had left his office the night before with little to nothing to say. He didn’t care – he assured himself, but he found himself constantly thinking about her and his wolf – Leon, wasn’t helping at all.

‘How about being honest about your feelings and nice to her’, Leon suddenly said, earning an eye roll from Luke. ‘I miss being in her presence’, he whined.

“I have work to do, so do not bother me with your whines,” Luke replied, trying to focus on the word load he had in front of him.

‘Do you not wonder how well she’s getting along? How is her training going? What if she’s bruised?’

Luke felt his heart begin to rave at the thought of being bruised, he felt his anger rising. He sure was going to get mad at her coach if she was bruised in anyway. He tried to keep on working, but soon found himself shooting off his chair. He groaned to himself as he walked out of his office in search of Eleanor.
