Alina woke up feeling a banging headache, and as she touched Zach's part of the bed, she realized that he wasn't there, only the ruffled bed sheets.

She opened her eyes finally after lazing for a while. Alina stood up and headed towards the window, pulling the curtains open and letting the sun rays hit her already pale face.

Last night was different with Zach, he'd touched her in places that he's never. He took her several times, it almost seemed like it was his last time with her.

Alina couldn't wrap her thoughts around it. How can a man have two women at once? He'd been with Bella previously and now he was still so agile and took her on several sexual rounds.

Her lower back ached a bit so she stretched out a bit. Alina moved towards the wardrobe where she grabbed a random robe and put it on. She didn't realize that it was Zach's until she perceived the fragrance of his natural scent on it.

She sniffed excitedly, grasping his scent in her. Hoping that after last night, things would change between them. She saw passion in his eyes, she couldn't deny that she thought he'd changed.

She looked down on her flat stomach and rubbed it slowly. Truly, if there was a child growing in there, then she had to tell Zach about it. She was a bit positive that everything would change.

When Alina finished washing up, she changed into a short gray dress and had her hair tied in a sleek bun. She heads out of the bedroom, in a bid to search for Zach.

It was as if she knew it, he hadn't left the mansion like he would do on a normal ground. Zach was never someone who'd miss a meeting for anything. She thought he had a reason for being in the mansion at this time of the day.

She stared at the man sitting across the other part of the huge dining room with varieties of meals in front of him. He didn't seem to pay attention to them but to the documents he was holding.

Zachary felt her presence but he never turned, he only kept his focus on what he was reading. Soon, Alina approached him, she placed her hands on his shoulder and kissed his cheek.

“Good morning, Alpha” she greeted him. He'd always wanted her to call him that instead of his name. She seemed to finally want to do things right with him.

She took her seat facing him after he never responded to her greetings. Alina Blamed herself, she clearly saw how busy he was and she still went to bug him.

Alina served the meals, she assumed he'd been waiting for her. She gave him his and served some for herself.

She took a few spoonfuls before she decided to cut the long silence between them..

“Zach, I'll like to speak with you” she said,

He raised a brow at her.

“What is it?” He asked her.

“.. it's about what I asked you, yesterday.” She said calmly.

“Alina, we had a deal. You cannot have kids for me unless I permit you to” he declared.

“I know, Zach. But it's been years. Can we talk about it already? I want us to settle our differences and live a normal life. You have your responsibilities as the Alpha. And as your Luna, I have mine. Please let me do my part”

“NO!” He yelled out in rage.

“Alina, how many more times do you plan to defy me? Huh?” He questioned her

“Zach… I” she was unable to finish her statement before he cut her off.

“I've given you so many chances to prove to me that you'd changed. But you keep giving me reasons to believe that you only want to keep using me.” He stated

“Zach, I'm sorry. Please” she apologized quickly.

“Let's get a divorce, Alina,” he said calmly.

Her eyes always plunged out of their sockets, she had them widened in shock as she stared at him. Her mouth was slightly parted for a few minutes before she spoke.

“A- a divorce?” She stuttered confusedly.

Alina, in the next seconds, felt her heart ache and her head spunned. She almost puked but managed to hold back.

“W- why?” She asked him.

“Alina, it's been three years already. And I'm getting tired of your endless rants. I will let you go and be with whoever brings you peace and puts you first like you've always wanted.” He said calmly.

“What are you even saying, Zach?” She yelled out, her heart beated faster. It almost felt like she was being stabbed , her legs went numb. Before she could realize what was going on, Zach coughed out blood..

She stared at him with her eyes squinted. “Z… Zach, what have you done?” She questioned him. Realizing that he'd broken their bond.

Zach wiped his bloodied mouth and then he placed the files he was reading earlier in front of her. “Sign these” he said.

“An alimony will be sent to your account immediately you've signed them” he stated.

Just then, a Feminine voice interrupted the whole situation. It was Bella, she came dressed in an elegant blue short skirt with a remarkable slit on the sides and a pink top.

She looked beautiful as always. It was at that moment Alina realized everything. This man divorced her in order to make things official with Bella.

She watched them hold hands as they left the dining room together. Alina passed out right there in the dining room.

  • ALPHA'S REGRET: RECLAIMING MY REJECTED LUNA   Chapter 26

Alpha Zach’s POV The high priestess meditated for a while and then finally leaned forward. It is an ancient practice but that’s the only way to solve this misery once and for all. “And…” I asked because I was still confused and lost because she hadn’t spoken about the ancient practice in detail. “What’s this practice you speak of and how do we make everything work?” She let out a heavy breath and then leaned closer to me. “There is a ritual that will unlock the dormant energy in Roy’s blood. That blood would help the pack heal.” “But…” she spoke again. The sound of her voice made me curious and I was nervous about what she wanted to say. Because each time she sounded like she was going to give a warning, I knew it wasn’t going to be easy. “What is it?” I asked. “Are there some procedures we have to pass through?” She nodded. “It’s an easy one but it must be done willingly. The child must choose. And he must b

  • ALPHA'S REGRET: RECLAIMING MY REJECTED LUNA   Chapter 24

Alina’s POV “Are you insane? How dare you ask if I like Kaden?” I yelled back at him. Everyone knew who Kayden was and it was unfortunate that I had to be close to him just to see that my pack was standing on its own again. The territories and the lands, he helped me acquire everything and I was glad he did.But one thing was for sure. I was never going to key into whatever plan he had with my father. I knew that was a long time ago, but I still had a feeling that there was something up in his mind.“I am sorry, I just thought you both had something to do together because I saw him with you the last time at the conference meeting together with all the Alphas,” Zach muttered. “Well… keep whatever you think to yourself and please don’t bring it up again else you won’t be welcome in my house anymore.”“It’s getting late, you should start leaving now because I have to go to bed early. It’s going to be a busy day for me tomorrow.” I added. Zach didn’t argue further. He nodded and then

  • ALPHA'S REGRET: RECLAIMING MY REJECTED LUNA   Chapter 23

Alina’s POV It had been barely two weeks since I arrived at my new park and everything was going smoothly until Zack and his men showed up in my pack that evening. He never called, nor texted me that he was coming to my pack. I was surprised when I heard his car drive in and stop at the parking lot. “What are you doing here?” I asked, keeping my face cold on my voice firm. “You don’t just come to my pack like it belongs to you.”“I am sorry, I should have informed you, but your number never connected and I thought it was just supposed to pay you a surprise visit,” Zach replied. “Well… I don’t like your surprises and please leave!” I yelled at him. He immediately turned towards his driver, James. They nodded and James without delay, horridly went back to the car and returned with a banquet of flowers. The banquet was filled with roses and it was just as I liked them. I didn’t act like mine, I pretended and looked away, tr

  • ALPHA'S REGRET: RECLAIMING MY REJECTED LUNA   Chapter 22

Alpha Zach’s POV I didn’t attend the meeting immediately, I waited till it was dark, and the moon was up in the sky. I had to look up a better story to tell the elders else they might just think I was going weak and that would be a threat to my position as an alpha. I drove straight to the hall myself, and when I got there, they were all gathered, sitting around the big table that was in the middle of the hall. The hall was covered with murmurs, although I couldn’t hear properly. But I knew one thing and that was the fact that they were talking about me. Before I took a seat, I looked around the table and watched every man in their eyes, thinking about how they had one way or the other helped the pack. My mind was racing and that was because I didn’t want to see betrayal coming from them because the way Jason had sounded earlier, it was too alarming to just sit and watch them make decisions. Finally, I took my seat, and beside me, was Jason on my right. I drummed my fingertips ag

  • ALPHA'S REGRET: RECLAIMING MY REJECTED LUNA   Chapter 21

Alpha Zach’s POVAlina was finally well again, and she was seated with me in my chambers. I have tried to speak with her separately concerning the attack that happened at the pack boundary, but she still wouldn’t say anything. But to an extent, I wondered what she had gone to the north boundary to do because I had never expected to be in that place when she knew how much Alpha Kayden had haunted our pack territories.“The man who attacked me was fast and I couldn’t even see their face because they wore a mask,” Bella muttered. “The person who had sent them wanted me gone for good.”She tried to sound convincing, but I couldn’t just trust her because I knew her too well and how she could frame stories just to make this go according to our plan.“This is not something we should joke about, We have been hearing alarming complaints recently, and yet there are no traces of any of the sources where the problem was coming from.”The look on Bella‘s face didn’t seem like she was interested in

Alina’s POVI didn't know if I would give my father the idea to allow my son to stay behind while I travel to Nova City.Roy was all I was living for and I didn't think I would even survive a day without him by my side. He was young and wouldn't be able to protect himself in case he got into danger. But I couldn't help the fact that I would prefer to see him playing around me.How long was this going to continue? I let out a heavy breath and then turned towards my father, my eyes locked in his. And that was because I wanted him to change his mind on what he had said. But they looked in his eyes, stated otherwise and the next thing, he stepped back, crossing his arms. “It’s for the best.”“No, it’s not,” I replied almost immediately, my voice louder this time. “He’s my son. I’m his mother. He should be with me.”“Roy is already growing without a father and you still expect me to take away my presence from him? I can't watch him grow without a mother too?” I added.“This isn't about gro
