Teresa had really panicked. I was tired of these demons following our footsteps. Now in Russia too? How important could she be for them to keep following her like that?

It was a question it terrified me to answer. If all this had to do with her legacy and her past, then many lies and secrets will come to light. The less good and sad part was that if in her vision it involved me, then her trust would diminish.

I avoided going to Alexei’s cartel. I really didn’t want to expose him unnecessarily. Instead, I took out my mobile phone and on the way to the rented airstrip I called him.
