CHAPTER 70: GAME

DIONNAH'S POV

When I got to the apartment building I was very careful. I ensured that I parked where they couldn't see my car but I could see them. It's safe to say I went into full detective mode. But I was shocked when I didn't see Michael's car anywhere near the apartment. I looked up and down the street and there was still no sign of the car. I waited for almost twenty minutes and still no sign of Michael. So I decided to call him. The phone went straight to voicemail. I made two more attempts and it was the same result. I was becoming angrier and angrier at the situation I was in. Why was Michael doing this? I thought.

I got fed up and decided to head home. On my way home Dani called and told me that Michael just got back to their house. I hung up and pressed the accelerator. I managed to navigate my way through traffic and in record time I was home.

"Where is he?" I asked Danielle as I entered the kitchen.

"He's upstairs," she answered.

"Mamaaaa," I heard my daughter's sweet voi
