CHAPTER 71: SICK

DIONNAH'S POV

The next couple of days were weird between Michael and me. I slept in my daughter's room and the only time we spoke was if it was about Kehlani. I noticed that Michael wasn't sleeping in our room either, in fact, he wasn't sleeping at all.

"Good morning," I said as I brought Kehlani down for breakfast.

Michael was the one who made breakfast but I wasn't in the mood for any. I hadn't been feeling well since the following morning. I would get these slight headaches and get sick at the slightest scent.

"Good morning Dionnah, good morning Lani bear," Michael said before kissing Lani.

"Dada," Lani said and I smiled.

"Can you please give her breakfast? I have to go get ready for work."

"Aren't you going to have something to eat?"

"No. I'm fine. Just ensure that Kehlani eats hers," I told him.

"Okay," he said then I left the room.
