Chiara flinched. 'I knew he would ask this sooner or later, but should I tell him everything? The owner of the bookshop told me to keep the thing about reading books about mana a secret to anyone. "I went to a bookshop in the capital."

Carzus examined the lady's face who suddenly averted her eyes. 'I think she's uncomfortable with the topic, but we have to reach for an agreement today, no matter what. I don't want to repeat what happened last night.'
