Lucina's POV

"How's the baby doing?" Martains asked me.

He always asked after the baby everyday and I lied about it. There was no baby anywhere. I'll just put up this act for a few more weeks or a month when everyone is expecting my stomach to bulge. After that, I'll come up with a miscarriage plan.

Martains sent the pack doctor over to come check me up because I told him I wasn't feeling too well.

I wanted to see the doctor but didn't want to call him over on my own openly or secretly. It would arouse suspicions if I kept seeing him frequently and the excuse of my pregnancy would not fully cover up for me.

Of late, someone had been stalking me and I had to be careful. Beta Carl would not also let me breathe or do anything in peace. His eyes was always on me.
