EROS' POV

"Some might say, Ms. Thompson, that you, yourself are an inconvenience." I said. Dalia stopped just at the door. She remained turned to me for a few seconds, before spinning around with a look of disbelief on her face.

"Excuse me?" She scoffed, and took a step closer to me, as if to hear me better when I spoke next. I looked back at my laptop and replied her.

"You're quite lucky, you know? Hell, if I were Jeffery, you would've been fired the moment you ran off of that stage."

"Well it's good you aren't, Mr. West." Dalia responded with clenched teeth. I paused working and peeped from behind my screen, to see her much closer to my table now. She seemed rather distraught by my words, but I was not moved. Her hands were balled into small fists, like she was about to throw a punch at me, but I had picked up that it was simply something she did to manage intense emotion.
