DALIA'S POV

It had been nearly three hours since I arrived at West Inc. Since deciding to wait in the cafe, I had almost tasted everything they had on display. I wasn't sure if it was a pregnancy thing, or I was just extremely boredom, but I was down to my very last treat. It was a very large chocolate chip cookie flavoured milkshake. Jeffery's driver had informed me he was leaving to run a few errands about forty minutes ago, and told me to call him whenever I was done. I did not believe him one bit, but I nodded and dismissed him. It wasn't my business where he went, and to be completely honest, I didn't care. All I wanted was to get up to West's office, apologise, and be right on my way back to MELT.

I spent another couple minutes nursing my milkshake, often stirring it with the thick, bendy straw that popped out from the hole in the middle of the plastic lid. I knew that West was a busy man, I just never imagined he'd be this busy. A part of me began to create scenarios in my head
