I returned to my office to deal with pack matters while uncle Abel returned to his pack members at the hotel they were staying at. We were yet to get proper accommodation for them. I sat at the desk and thought of all he had discussed with me.

My uncle had his point about the council, but cleansing the board would be challenging and could cause war. I always try to avoid war by all means, and this would definitely be a bad one if I dared to set things in motion. It was best that I did not bother and just handled what was needed. Which was Petra's cult.

I called a meeting, and Randolph was the first to arrive. Kevin was far away, and Brain and Ian were busy working on the security details. Randolph sat on the couch and lifted a magazine from the stool on the side of the sofa. The guy looked depressed, and I had been hoping he would open up.

"Is everything alright with you?" I asked him, and he looked at me and smiled. He looked troubled; I knew it was either pack issues o
