"I got a call from the witch."

It took a moment for what he said to sink him because I kind of forgot who the witch was until it clicked.

"She must be in love with you."

I joked and heard him curse at me. I pushed my room door open and looked around for my mate. She wasn't in the room.

"Can you give me a moment?"

I asked Hillan.

He said, I put the call on hold and walked around the room but there was no sign of Harlyn.

"Where did she go?"

I expected to see her in here getting ready for our date. I didn't want to panic for no reason. I connected our mind-link and thankfully, she was there.
