Audrey's Pov

He leaned back on his chair and intertwined his fingers with his elbows resting on the armrest, “Should we make this official or do we keep it on a low and see how it goes? I can arrange for a proper marriage ceremony and send out invites, if you want that” He stated and I sighed deeply thinking about what kind of scandal this could bring, everyone knew about my relationship with Zachary because I was a fool for love so I flaunted him.

What a waste of time!!

“We can keep it a secret for now, if they start spreading rumors those people who attended my sister's wedding know the real story, I wouldn't be surprised if a reporter was there. Let's just keep it under wraps for now, we can make it official later” I concluded and he nodded in understanding, now to address the elephant in the room.

“You said I should move in with you right?”

“Yes, I'd advise you to do that if we want to convince your family that we are together” He replied curtly.

“You are not bothered b

Amelia’s POV Claire’s eyes flickered with something—interest, perhaps. “Ah, so this isn’t just about the company.” I narrowed my eyes at her. “It’s about my life. My future. I’m not going to let her take everything from me.” “What are you talking about? You seem to be having more of a personal strife.” I sighed. “How about you leave me alone to help myself in this shithole? How about that?” Claire moved closer, her heels clicking softly against the floor. She stopped just a few feet away from me, her eyes studying me intently. “Amelia, let me give you some advice. In this world, no one gives you anything. You have to take it.” Her words hung in the air between us, and for a moment, I wasn’t sure what to make of her. She was a board member, part of the establishment that I despised, but there was something about her that intrigued me. She wasn’t like the others. She wasn’t here to coddle me or play nice. She was telling me exactly what I wanted to hear. It was almost like she w

Amelia’s POV Audrey did her best to remain silent as she riffed through the papers they gave her to hold. “You know, in this company there are policies that simply cannot be taken lightly and this requires someone who actually knows what they are doing.” Her whole focus was on me now, her lips clenched in irritation as she pushed away from the desk. She walked to where my legs reclined on a polished wooden surface, said nothing, and booted my feet off her desk. I don’t think I had a chance to do anything before my legs were dangling at the armrest of the chair, and my body was shaking from where she thrust it. “Well Amelia, what do you demand?” she asked me without hiding her irritation and the royal dislike expressed in her voice. I smiled and thought of the best witty remark to say in return which I never did because I was struck by the realization that I was now fully immersed in this stupid job. “Say that again? Well, good morning to you too, sis.” Thus she folded her arms

Audrey’s POV He pulled back after a moment, glancing at the clock on the nightstand. “I hate to leave you, but I’ve got to get to work.” I pouted playfully, pretending to be upset. “Do you really have to go?” After the incident of the other day, I was seeing Xander in a different light. Maybe he wasn’t as terrible as I had made it look. I gave a little sigh as I saw how his body was snuggly fitted in the suit. He looked so CEO ish with how he was dressed. The whiff of his perfume hit my nose as I smiled and inhaled more of him. He laughed, shaking his head. “Unfortunately, yes. But I’ll be home later, and we can spend the evening together. Maybe we can go out to dinner or watch a movie. Whatever you want.” “Okay,” I said, still pouting a little but knowing he had responsibilities to attend to. “I guess I’ll survive without you for a few hours.” “This is so unlike you. You hate me,” he said as I rolled my eyes. “After what happened last night, I might want to change my mind

Amelia’s POV Megan snickered. “Brunch is not a reason, babe. That’s an excuse.” “Whatever,” I huffed, falling back onto the pillows. “I hate this. I don’t even know what I’m supposed to be doing. My dad just threw me into this with no warning. And to make it worse, I have to work with Audrey. Can you imagine?” Tina raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. “Oh right, your sister. How’s that gonna go?” I let out a dramatic sigh. “Terribly, obviously. Audrey’s been obsessed with this company since forever. She actually wants to work there. She’s going to be all serious and bossy and expect me to care, and I’m just… not.” Sara flopped onto the bed beside me, staring up at the ceiling. “So what are you going to do? Just sit at your desk and play on your phone all day?” “I wish,” I muttered. “But no. My dad’s going to be breathing down my neck, making sure I actually do something productive. He’s probably going to stick me with a ton of boring paperwork or something.” Tina laughed. “Ca

Xander’s POV Everyone looked into my direction as I cleaned my hands on my shirt and stood before them with a grin over my face. “Evening gentlemen,” I said with a frown. “I believe I made myself clear earlier. Leave. I don’t want any trouble. You want money, I can give you that but let’s start over so you can leave us alone. How about that?” “You don’t run this part, moron,” the man who held my wife at gunpoint said through gritted teeth. “I’m in charge now.” “Well I do. Seeing as you’re with my wife, I’m going to nicely ask that you give her back.” His eyes fell on Audrey as he growled. “You all have ten seconds to leave this place before I destroy you all,” I said in anger. I hated the way he was holding her like she was his… With a sigh, I shook my head, interrupting my thoughts as I stepped forward. “Just go,” I said with a resigned sigh. “Just go and leave us alone, please. I don’t want any trouble.” Audrey was scared so scared she had not said anything after he had

  • Accidentally Married To Mr. Ceo   CHAPTER 35

Audrey’s POV “I know you don’t like the idea,” my father said, his voice remaining calm. “But I want to give her a chance.” Oh but I wasn’t going to let this slide. What did he mean he wanted to give her a chance? What did she do to deserve that chance? She only ate his money and nothing more. She wasn’t interested in the company so what was he even trying to do. “A chance?” I repeated, incredulous. “Why? She’s never shown any interest in the company. She’s never shown any interest in anything other than spending your money and living off whatever scraps she can get from you.” “That’s enough, Audrey,” my father said, his tone sharp now. “Amelia is your stepsister, and I want you to give her the same respect you would give any other colleague.” Yeah, that was going to be tough seeing as she didn’t rate me and I would do the same thing to her. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. “Respect? Dad, she’s not even qualified! She’s never worked a day in her life. She doesn’t care
