Stunned, Sabrina stared at Jacob like he just spoke an alien language.

“Medical records?” she repeated.

Her brain was trying to process it, but it seemed like it was not working all of a sudden.

Meanwhile, Jacob fixed his eyeglasses before he spoke again. “I know that is very personal but I don't want to jeopardize your health. I just want to be sure that you are fit to work..”

Sabrina twisted her lips as she lowered her head. She knew he was just worried about her, but for some reason, it did not sit well to her.

For her, it seemed like he was thinking that she was sick just because she had an upset stomach and was a little unwell.

“Look, Sabrina. As much as I wanted you to work in my company, I would not let something happen to you here. If you haven't had a check up recently, I suggest you get one to make sure that you are okay,” her boss elaborated. “I will recommend my doctor but I'm sure your husband knows the best one for you..” he added.
