"I'm on my way to the company. Yeah, okay. Let's meet there," Luther said as he drove away from the caller.

It was none other than Lucas, who had been preoccupied with the girl's family.

He smirked as he remembered the girl's mother asking Lucas not to return to the mansion and instead stay in their own home. Her family appears to have been involved in the operation as well.

Why would they want to live in a dilapidated house again when they can live in a mansion? It's strange that it gives him even more reason to distrust the girl.

He examined the tissue in which the bread given by the girl was wrapped. He simply grinned and took it without saying anything, tossing it into the garbage can that passed by.

Pretending to be innocent will not work on him. She will no longer deceive them, and he will no longer be deceived.
