Our first dinner was a success, but I had to excuse myself from everyone when my phone rang. When I saw Seb’s name on my cellphone’s screen, Alex told me I had to answer it, reminding me I could not avoid Sebastian forever.

I walked back to my room and directly went inside the bathroom. I sat inside the bathtub, and for a while, I stared at my phone screen before accepting the call.
