Chapter 115 – Just Get Me Home

(Alexander’s POV)

I groaned, lifting my hands to reach my aching head. I moaned in pain, feeling the bandage wrapped around my head.

“What happened?” I whined, trying to get up and open my eyelids. I had to blink a few times because I only saw blurry figures around me the first time I opened my eyes.

“Oh, my God, you’re finally awake, Boss,” George scrambled to her feet, running toward me.

Only then did I realize she was the figure I saw lying on the chair, who got up in a panic and dashed into my bed.

I hissed, touching the sterile gauge bandage around my head and wincing as I felt the throbbing pain in my head. I focused my eyes on the old white ceiling and then on the white curtain.

“Where am I, George?” I asked, letting my eyes wander. I was definitely not in a big hospital, not even a room, because I could hear noises outside the white curtain.
