"Ben? Why are we going to your apartment?" From the reflection of the elevator wall, Rena frowned as the square space began to rise. Her hand in my grip cooled. I could see the soles of her shoes tapping lightly on the floor as the other residents took the elevator.

"Organizing my book mail." I pulled her position to the side, against the wall of the elevator, while I became Rena's barrier from the other elevator users who occasionally stole a glance. "What's wrong, Ren?" I asked her as I put my hand on Rena's waist.

"Nothing. It's okay?" Rena shook her head quickly. Why is she acting so awkward? Like slipping her hand into my grip. Even though on the way back from trying on the dress, Rena was smiling all the time.

Just trying on the dress, anyway. I haven't thought about when I'm going to do the event. Getting married?
