Chapter 41: Raging Knight
THIRD PERSON
The night was a bliss.
Well, at least, for Tross who finally had the courage to show what he truly felt to the only woman who captured his entirety.
Everything was still a blur to him. He never anticipated any of this to happen, especially in the midst of a crucial journey and upcoming war. Apparently, he never regretted anything that he’d shown and felt.
All his life—living beneath the shadow and darkness—he only wanted happiness. He needed light to spur him out from eternal loneliness and fill in his emptiness.
And there . . . she finally came. Happiness was her.
She brought light to his dark world. She was never afraid of his darkness, a thing that he came to realize that he, himself, was the one who feared his own; and that she was what he needed to live peacefully and with content in his own darkness.
Now, he's happy.
