Chapter 22: Good Girl!

Both cars were parked in front of Briana's house, and they both exited simultaneously.

Briana gave Jack a brief glance before inserting the key into the lock and opening the door.

The couple walked into the house.

Briana's glum expression caught Jack's attention. "What's wrong, babe?" he asked as he lowered himself onto the sofa.

"Nothing," Briana said, dismissing his question before adding, "I'll go to my room to change. Are you staying for dinner tonight?"

"Of course!" Jack responded. "We won't cook for dinner, we'll just order home delivery," he added.

"OK, you're the boss," Briana said, walking into her bedroom.

"Babe, what do you want to eat for dinner tonight?" Jack inquired.

"Just order whatever you want, as long the food is edible, I won't complain," Briana replied casually as she entered her room.
