Scott finally arrived at the farm before 6:00 in the evening.
"Sir, Ma'am Briana's boyfriend, named Jack, had come here a few hours ago." The guard informed his employer after opening the iron gate.
Scott's eyes widened in shock. "Huh? Briana's boyfriend?" He roamed around the area, looking for his former boss. "Where is he?"
"He already left." The guard replied, scratching his head.
Scott's heart beat so fast in his rib cage. "Did Briana come with him?" He asked apprehensively.
The guard shook his head. "No. Ma'am Briana went back to the house while her boyfriend left in his car, going back to where he came from."
"OK. Good!" Scott's face brightened up like a flashlight as huge relief washed over him. For a split second, he was afraid that Briana would leave the farm and go with Jack back to the city. He was glad and grateful that she stayed true to her words that she would deliver the baby before going home.
