FAZER LOGINThree years later.
"Baby, I love it here!" Lily screeched, excited as they checked the giant mansion that would be their new home. "Let's hurry up and pay right now. Your mom really referred a lovely place for us!" Brad stood there proud of himself. "Yea, it's alright. I'm just glad you like it, baby." He walked over to her, pulled her closer and leaned in for a kiss. Lily wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing her boobs to his chest. When he pulled free, a wild grin rested on his face. "Come on, pay to the agent and let's move in right away. Oh, I can't wait to feel you in me, right on that new bedroom of ours." She moaned as she bit her lips. A young lady behind them cleared her throat to let them know she was still around. She was the agent who brought them to check the house. Brad found her cough a bit disrespectful but he shrugged it off. "We want this one. Let's get the payment preparation ready." He said gruffly. "Yes sir. Uh, excuse me sir, I have to pick this." The lady's voice was firm. She reached for her phone and quickly excused herself to pick the call. A while later, she came back. "Oh I am so sorry about that--" Unknowingly to the lady, Brad was already fuming with rage. "Get out! I will report you to your fucking boss! How dare you try to walk out on us while we were still talking to you!" Lily stepped forward, "just calm down, baby." Then she turned to the lady, "look what your stupidity has caused, huh? You moron! Just hurry up and get us the account details so that we can pay and you can leave!" The lady blinked, completely confused. She didn't understand why they were being so rude to her. But she cleared her throat to give her announcement, "I'm sorry, but my boss has changed her mind. She's not willing to sell to you, so you two, get lost please." Brad raged out. "Huh! How dare you and your fucking boss! Do you know who I am? I am a fucking Cambridge! Brad Cambridge!" The lady ignored and walked away, "I think I need to get the security on this one," she muttered as she walked out. Lily hurried after the agent, "wait! Who the hell is your boss? Why did she cancel all of a sudden? We want this house and that's final." "You'd have to speak to my boss because this is above me." The lady explained patiently. Brad was beside them now. "Who the hell is your boss! I would like to speak to her right now! This house was referred to by my mother, Maria Cambridge!" "I don't have a say in this. But I will call my boss now to know if she would like to speak to you or not." She said, then brought out her phone before anyone could say anything and dialed the number. Alison was standing tall with her hands on her hips, looking straight at the camera as people around her hyped her with praises. But she knew no amount of that could make her feel comfortable! "That's right! You look gorgeous, my dear." Celine, a middle aged pretty woman who was Alison's manager said with a big cheery smile on her face. "These photos are what will spell out your name boldly, they'll say 'Ally F. Rose has arrived.'" Alison groaned. "I still think we're taking it a little far, Celine. It's too early for me to be all out there." "Too early? My dear, you have sold millions of copies of your novel in just, what, two years? That's a huge success and you need to start putting yourself out there. Besides, if you play your cards right, you'll get movie industries all lined up begging for an adaptation of your latest novel into a movie." "Maybe," Alison said, still not buying Celine's idea, "still, we should take things slow--" "--you're talking too much. Big smile, honey, less teeth. Do you not know what sexy means? Jeez, you're half my age and even I've still got it than you!" Celine was saying when Alison's personal assistant, Mira came by to give her the phone again. "Would you stop this? We're in the middle of something here!" Celine rolled her eyes at Mira. "It's okay, lemme see." Alison was glad for a break as she went to one corner with Mira. "It's that man and his wife, the one from Cambridge family. He wants to speak with you and he's angry you won't sell him the house. The agent wanted to know if she should hang up now or maybe you'll speak to Mr Cambridge?" Mira explained. Alison heaved in a deep sigh. It had been three years since she last heard from Brad, and now he was back. "There's no way I'm selling the house to him." She was determined in her mind. "Give me the damn phone. I'm not afraid of him." The voice from over there was angry, rage filling his words like if he had his chance, he would shoot her straight up for disrespecting him. "You still are the same horrible angry piece of shit, aren't you?" Alison said, calming this man down immediately. "Hey, wh--who the hell are you? Why would you speak to me in this manner!" He yelled out. "Will you keep your mouth shut already? I am not selling the house to you, Brad. So why don't you grab your little mistress and leave right now while I'm still being nice." Alison made sure her tone was a solid one and was quite impressed with her confidence. Hopefully it would be the same when she was standing face to face with him when he glared at her with those intimidating eyes. "Wait wait, hold on a minute. Why are you sounding so familiar?...Alison?" Brad pronounced slowly, and Alison could imagine the shock resting on his face now. "Alison, is that you? H--how??"Alison stared at her phone, her thumb hovering over Richard Harrison's contact. Her heart hammered in her chest. "Damn it!" A heavy sigh followed. "What? Is this me missing him? Or what—"The phone suddenly vibrated in her palm, the screen lighting up with his name. Her eyes widened. "Huh? Well, would you look at that." She ignored the way her heart suddenly skipped a bit, and answered on the very first ring. Her voice rushed out in a breathless wave. "Richard? Oh, thank goodness." She cleared her throat loudly. "Um, what I'm saying is this. Richard, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry for everything I said, and please... please tell Maggie I am so incredibly sorry too—""Alison," Richard's deep voice cut her off, my little Rose. "Save the apologies for later. Prepare something delicious for me. I'm starving."Alison blinked, her brain scrambling to process his words. "What? You... you want me to cook?"Huh? At least she was still his little Rose. He didn't sound...angry?"And Maggie too. S
"You yelled at me and chased me away. We were having a simple conversation and the next thing, you chased me out of your office." Alison blinked. She had not remembered it like that per se. "I wasn't expecting a thank you because I cleared your name for me too. So the Harrison empire wouldn't be susceptible to stupid rumors like that. But I did not deserve the way you chased me away like that." "I didn't..." She stopped herself before she would say something else she would regret. "I'm sorry." That was all she could say to him. "Okay, Alison. Well, goodnight," he said before hanging up, shattering her heart into pieces. The next morning, Alison did not want their last conversation to be just...that. If Richard was going to yell at her, if he was going to be mad at her, let him see her first and tell her face to face. The cold air made her skin tingle, but she was glad she had on that thick coat. Shivering, she raised her hand up to click on the doorbell, but the door opened alre
Alison nodded as Celine kept talking. She didn't deny it; half of what the woman told her did not click. At all.She kept thinking about what Richard had said. She tried to shrug it off many times, but it was still stuck on her mind."Now, this is a very intriguing question..." Celine frowned, taking turns with Mira as they exchanged shocked glances. "Alison?"She blinked at the mention of her name. "What? Oh, I heard you."Celine's face hardened. "What did I say? Huh?" She turned to face Mira. "Talk to her. This is crazy."Mira sighed. "Alison?"But Alison cut her off. "I'm here, I'm listening! Besides, this is almost 4 p.m. The damage control worked, Richard saved us all. Didn't he?"He'd cut out every rumor, demanding that whoever had dared raise the false accusations would be dealt with. In fact, the only reason that had been seen as some cruel threat (as Celine had presented, before releasing her shots and short stories on "About the Author" that had gained tons of agencies reach
Brad was angry at Lily when she texted him, saying they needed to meet urgently. He only went because his mother had told him to.At the hotel, he sat next to his mother, both of them looking at Lily as she went on. "But it's all settled now because Alison will pay for her crimes."Desiree burst out laughing brightly. "Oh, would you look at that. Apparently, she isn't as dumb as we thought she was."Lily winced, but she shrugged off that insult since it resembled a compliment. She then noticed only Desiree had been excited. "Babe, can you believe what kind of person Alison really is?"Brad wanted to compose himself, but his wrath was too much to hide. "And you're both here celebrating after implicating a poor woman?"His statement not only startled Lily, but Desiree as well. She stepped up, cutting off whatever Lily had to say. "True, that's kind of an issue. Especially seeing as it ties us to the Harrisons. If things go wrong..."Lily frowned. "Go wrong? I've just exposed a fraud. Wh
Alison did not understand how calm she'd been, despite Celine's uproar of panicking. "This isn't supposed to happen, not right now. No."She sat upright, "Celine? You are my manager for a reason. Get it right."Mira sighed beside her. "It's her job, and that's why she's panicking, Alison. Richard is handling those private investigators outside. Private investigators!"Alison didn't understand why everyone was panicking. No, she didn't understand why she wasn't freaking out like them. Why was she angry instead of afraid?"Alison, don't you get it?" Celine said, more calmly. "This is bad for business. You are a famous woman, a recognized author. This was our chance to publish your works, put you out there. Introduce you big to the world. This isn't a way you want to be known."With her knuckles hardened, she jumped up to her feet. "I'm going to kill Brad."It wasn't until she had reached outside, standing beside Richard that she knew what had happened. She was muttering curses, storming
Besides, she WAS tense whenever Brad's name and his family's were involved. She hated them and always felt bullied."Now, you can leave. We wouldn't want other eyes and ears seeing the two of us together. People might start to think otherwise." Her hands folded beneath her breasts, ready to attack him if he dared to protest."Alison?" he called out in a calm tone. Her raised brows were her response. He watched as she avoided personal questions; sure, that was fine. But masking discomfort with confidence? Getting all tense at the mention of her ex-husband?"I'm not your enemy."She blinked at that. Richard took a bolder step, leaning closer. Their eyes lingered for a moment until Alison decided to break the gaze, staring out into the distance. She couldn't let him learn about her losing composure."I got a call early this morning from legal. Forgive me for being a little too invested in you, but you're in danger. I don't trust that ex-husband of yours."Alison did not mean to jump up i
Alison's mind had already began to race. That matter of urgency was giving her a heart attack already. What could have possibly gone wrong! Was it the Dark man raging war on her already! Because he was a local thug..no one messed with him. Once outside, she had already summoned confidence and was
Alison looked stunned, but who looked even more shocked was Ella. "Mr Richard Harrison!" She screamed out,"it's such a pleasure to--"But Richard wasn't having any of that. He walked straight to Alison and Mira. Brad and his mother along with Lily all just stared in surprise."Alison, are you alri
Brad shouted, not caring if his words her hurt Lily or not. "I don't give a fuck about you! You're tired? Then fucking sign the divorce papers I've been throwing at your face since eight months now. I want kids, you can't give me that. We're running on the edge of bankruptcy, and you can't even sav
Alison didn't have enough time before the first man got closer and squeezed her hand tight, dragging her out. "Hey, let go of me!" She demanded. All this while, Mira was grunting beside her while Alison warned her with serious side glances. Not yet. Of course she knew that the Cambridge were her
